[WardFive] Re: [ward5] Re: Spingarn HS to be Closed

Mr. Lee,

Thank you.  The problem with the Jared's around us is that they are tied to the hip with the Hannity's (Fox 5's) of the world.  Right now they are having a tough time locating President Obama's Birth Certificate -- still looking after 5 years!!!  Interesting though as I can produce Whites who share my thoughts and will have the same arguments I have against the Jareds (he and his neighbors he talked with)  -- I would like to see Jared bring some Black Folks who would support him.

once again, this listserv is not for the faint of heart and it requires people to be liberal with the delete button.  we gain and lose people on this listserv all the time because of strong opinions.  people that have something to say should say it and not be intimidated, at least within parameters.  i'm not a person that tends to focus on race a lot and am uncomfortable talking about it a lot though i do stray into the subject from time to time.  we all present from our different experiences, lifestyles, perspectives, passions and so forth.

but today it's on.  we're talking about the passion for learning and ensuring that this and the next generation benefit greatly from our schools.

Don't be disheartened! The majority of us on the community listserves stay silent to avoid being harassed by him, but that doesn't mean we all think like him. Of all the neighbors I've met and talked about the listserves with, all of them have been of the same mind.
You literally can't have a conversation about any topic without the threat of him coming after you personally and tossing racial incendiaries your way. It really is best to ignore him, and certainly never engage in conversation with him. The moderator is content to have him on the list, so he's not going anywhere. The best you can do is take Mark Twain's advice on who never to argue with.
