Written by Tom's brother about their first few runs down the Gauley -
the only part I disagree is the part about Tom not feeling the cold in
the winter. My experience tells me that Tom feels the cold but he
just doesn't give a crap. Tom is the Chuck Norris of the whitewater
world - there is a true story about a huge rapid in Canada that
decided to lose all of it's gradient since it heard that Tom was
driving North on his way to run it - it is now a lake. Enjoy.
