[WardFive] Tap Dancing

Hello Everyone,

So last night when I wasn't being such a "Loser", I took my daughter to a Tap Dancing Program.  From 7:30pm to 9:30pm -- at 4 years old, she was fully focused on all the kids between 8 - 20 doing their 2 minute skits.  I wonder if we had some opportunities like this in schools if we would have less truancy?  I know that folks want this "foreign language" motif because they think that it is so important -- and it is great option for kids who are doing well in school.

For kids who have fell behind or lack proficiency in English and Math, it is important to know that there is no foreign language on the SAT Exam and the likelyhood of most/probably all failing kids needing to use a Foreign Language as part of a Job is probably 0-1 per 1000.  It is time to be realistic.  I suggest we get them caught up and then introduce a foreign language.  Instead of foreign language, let's introduce programs that will entice our kids to attend school -- make school fun.
